International Leather Goods Fair (ILGF) focuses on the opportunities for sourcing from India at the same time promoting the Indian leather industry. The key objective of this fair is to bring all sectors of the domestic and global leather industry under one roof, facilitating networking opportunities, collaborations, updation on the latest trends, etc. ILGF has emerged as an effective platform for buyers and sellers to benefit from new opportunities as well as expansion of business.

The 13th International Leather Goods Fair will be staged from 22nd to 24th February 2008 at the Netaji Indoor Stadium, Kolkata, India. Leading manufacturers and suppliers from the leather industry from India and worldwide will showcase the newest products and services to a target audience. A fragmentary list of the leather products and accessories includes handbags, wallets, portfolios, briefcases, belts, sports goods, leather upholstery, travel bags, industrial leather goods, gloves, finished leather, components & accessories of leather goods, leather footwear, leather garments, leather processing machineries, leather goods manufacturing machineries, leather processing chemicals, etc.

Theme Pavilions by Freya Design Development Training Institute, Central Leather Research Institute, National Institute of Fashion Technology; Fashion Show presenting the latest trend in designs and colours of leather products; and Seminars/Conferences on key issues relating to the industry for its overall development are the special highlights of the fair.

The 12th edition of ILGF generated business worth Rs. 40 crore with spot order of Rs. 8 crore with 68 participants and 70 visitors from all over the globe including USA, UK, Canada, Germany, Italy, Poland, New Zealand, Spain, South Africa, France, Latvia, Russia, Argentina Azerbaijan, Cyprus and UAE. Ranked as one of the largest international leather fairs held in India, the 13th International Leather Goods Fair is targeted towards breaking all previous records in terms of exhibitor and visitor participation.
